The Richmond Area Chamber of Commerce, The Richmond Downtown District and Richmond Economic Development Incorporated (REDI) host the Annual Outlaw Days during September. Richmond's Outlaw Days is a Wild West themed fall festival with something for everyone. The festival features a bank robbery reenactment of an actual bank robbery that took place in 1867 on the square in Richmond. The reenactment of this day time robbery was attributed to the James-Younger Gang.
In the past, the festival has also included a 5k/10k Run, Pony Rides, Wild West Street Performances, and a Grandstand Stage featuring Boomerz. The festival committee is now preparing for our 2014 family-friendly, fun-filled event. Check back often for more information on events and how you can participate!
